About The Position

The Boeing Global Services Government (BGS-G) Supplier Management Team has an opportunity for a Supplier Management Manager (Level K) positions within our organization supporting our Top Tier Contracting team. The selected candidate will be located in Hazelwood, MO. This position requires compliance with U.S. export control regulations, meaning a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is necessary. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace and successful candidates will undergo post-offer testing. A credit check will also be required for this position. Pay is determined by candidate experience, qualifications, and market considerations. The summary pay range is $95,000 - $135,000. Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit. Requirements

  • At least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or format manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership.”
  • 5+ years of experience working with Supplier Management, Supply Chain, and/or Procurement practices and processes
  • 5+ years of Supplier Relationship Management (Experience managing supplier relationships.)
  • Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements (U.S. Person status required).
  • Excellent negotiation and problem resolution skills.
  • Hold extensive knowledge of Supplier Management processes and procedures.
  • Direct experience working with a variety of subcontract types under DoD prime contracts.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Business, Supply Chain, or related field
  • Experience with Government procurement procedures and requirements (FARs/DFARs)
  • Complex negotiation experience
  • Proficient utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Demonstrate analytical and problem solving skills
  • Solid business acumen, teaming, and excellent stakeholder communication and empathy

Responsibilities

  • Oversight and coordination of a BGS-G Top Tier team, including terms and conditions, schedule adherence, and relationship building with major Supplier partners.
  • Post Award Supplier Performance: Oversight and coordination of Supplier Performance Management, open order management, and Customer alignment for Transactional procurement for all BGS-G demands and customers.
  • Manages, develops, and motivates employees.
  • Provide subcontract support, supplier delivery performance, and support for all program objectives.
  • Acts as an authorized agent of the company with responsibility for managing all supplier-related activities and the authority to commit company resources through contracts and agreements.
  • Coordinates with the larger BGS-G Supply Chain team (Forecasting, Planning, Order Execution) on proposal requirements, execution requirements, and keeping programs and stakeholders informed on supplier status, issues, risks, and opportunities.
  • Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures, and sets operational goals.
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports.
  • Identification and implementation of continuous improvement processes.
  • Provides oversight regarding negotiation processes and related tools.
