Supplier Integrations Product Lead

Tern Travel
$160,000 - $200,000

About The Position

Travel advisors lose hours every week logging into dozens of supplier portals. Direct integrations on Tern replace all of that, and unlock a massive new revenue line for the company in a $1.6T travel booking industry. If owning the build that does both, end to end, sounds like the right next problem, let's talk. ABOUT TERN Tern is a venture-backed software company on a mission to reshape the $127B travel agency industry by giving power back to the entrepreneurs who built it. Nearly 98% of travel agencies are small businesses. These businesses have been chronically underserved by technology. We're here to change that. Our platform helps travel advisors run more efficient, professional, and profitable operations, giving them the modern infrastructure they need to lead the next chapter of travel. But the impact goes beyond business. Travel advisors help clients move more intentionally through the world. When a traveler works with an advisor, they're more likely to avoid overtouristed hotspots and more likely to spend their dollars in places where they can do real good. That's the kind of travel we want more of. At Tern, we believe in small business. We believe in the power of travel. And we're building the future of both.

Requirements

  • Partner and API integration experience. You've built integrations against other companies' APIs, ideally many of them. You can point to integrations you drove end to end, not one slice of one.
  • Technical fluency. You hold your own with engineers and partners on auth, tokenization, payments, inventory, and pricing. No translator needed.
  • Project management at scale. You've run a multi, partner pipeline, sequencing dependencies and chasing partner, side blockers across many concurrent builds.
  • AI, forward by default. You already build with AI tooling in your daily workflow and raise the bar for the people around you.
  • Schedule flexibility. You're comfortable flexing hours to work with international engineering partners.

Nice To Haves

  • Player/Coach experience, with a path to growing into leading the integrations function over time
  • Travel, marketplace, or booking platform background
  • Experience standing up a partner program or an open integration API others build against

Responsibilities

  • Own and sequence the net-new supplier integration pipeline against the booking-coverage goal, making the trade-off calls on what ships next
  • Run partner technical calls, defining exactly what each integration needs
  • Partner tightly with the senior integration engineers to unblock builds and chase partner side issues to the finish when an API doesn't work as documented
  • Co-own the booking-coverage number with the supplier GM and partner closely on the supplier sales side
  • Turn one-off integrations into reusable interfaces and patterns so each new partner ships faster than the last
  • Manage many partners in parallel, sequencing dependencies and delays across a concurrent roadmap

Benefits

  • Competitive salary, equity, and benefits package
