About The Position

This position is part of the Supplier Enablement team and specializes in making outbound calls to suppliers on behalf of clients to encourage them to accept a virtual credit card as a form of payment. The role involves understanding and articulating the benefits of virtual credit card acceptance in a business-to-business (B2B) environment. Key responsibilities include maintaining high service satisfaction through follow-ups and reporting on results, primarily communicating via telephone or email. The specialist will also coordinate with internal teams to ensure service levels and may participate in other projects as needed. This role is at the forefront of an evolving payment landscape, helping businesses transition to secure, efficient digital solutions, and contributing to client satisfaction, supplier engagement, and the adoption of innovative payment strategies. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Five to seven years of relationship management experience
  • Strong sales, business development, and relationship management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to grow client relationships, identify opportunities, and convert prospects into customers.
  • Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively to clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Proven customer service and client relationship management experience
  • Ability to manage customer expectations and deliver a high level of service.
  • Strong telephone communication skills, including active listening, professionalism, empathy, and accuracy in customer interactions.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships and collaborate across teams, departments, and external partners to achieve business objectives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Thorough understanding of operational processes, procedures, and products/services relevant to payments and supplier enablement.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other business systems

  • Experience providing consultative advice, influencing decision-making, and presenting strategies, solutions, and results to clients and stakeholders.

  • Advanced knowledge of payment solutions, virtual card processing, merchant services, and CPS products and services.
  • Broad understanding of bank products and services, with the ability to recognize opportunities for cross-selling and expanding customer relationships.
  • Familiarity with payment processing and virtual credit card technologies is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in using analytical tools and computer systems.

Responsibilities

  • Make outbound calls to suppliers to encourage acceptance of virtual credit cards.
  • Understand, describe, and sell the benefits of accepting virtual credit cards in a B2B environment.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, other team members, and departments to ensure service delivery aligns with company standards and client expectations.
  • Take part in special projects, requiring adaptability, initiative, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
