About The Position

This position is part of the Supplier Enablement team and specializes in making outbound calls to suppliers on behalf of clients to encourage acceptance of virtual credit cards as a form of payment. The role involves understanding and articulating the benefits of virtual credit cards in a business-to-business (B2B) environment. Key responsibilities include maintaining high service satisfaction through follow-ups and reporting, performing customer contact primarily via telephone or email, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure service levels. The position may also involve working on other projects as needed. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Five to seven years of relationship management experience
  • Strong sales, business development, and relationship management skills with a demonstrated ability to grow client relationships, identify opportunities, and convert prospects into customers.
  • Advanced knowledge of payment solutions, virtual card processing, merchant services, and CPS products and services.
  • Broad understanding of bank products and services, with the ability to recognize opportunities for cross-selling and expanding customer relationships.
  • Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively to clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Proven customer service and client relationship management experience, including managing customer expectations and delivering a high level of service.
  • Strong telephone communication skills, including active listening, professionalism, empathy, and accuracy in customer interactions.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships and collaborate across teams, departments, and external partners to achieve business objectives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Thorough understanding of operational processes, procedures, and products/services relevant to payments and supplier enablement.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other business systems, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and platforms.
  • Experience providing consultative advice, influencing decision-making, and presenting strategies, solutions, and results to clients and stakeholders.
  • The ideal candidate is an experienced, client-focused professional with a proven track record in customer service and sales within the financial or merchant services industry.
  • Confident communicator, adept at managing relationships and presenting complex concepts with ease.
  • Familiarity with payment processing and virtual credit card technologies is highly desirable, as is proficiency in using analytical tools and computer systems.
