About The Position

Sutter Medical Group (SMG) is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Endocrinologist to join our dynamic team in Sacramento and/or Roseville, California. This is a supplemental (per diem), non-benefited position working in an outpatient clinic setting. This role focuses on providing timely access for patients with urgent endocrine needs, including diabetes patients (including insulin pump management), urgent endocrine consults, STAT medication refill needs, and other time-sensitive endocrine concerns. The physician will evaluate and stabilize patients during the visit, provide up to one follow-up visit if necessary, and transition ongoing care back to the patient’s established endocrinology provider. This is an excellent opportunity for an endocrinologist seeking a flexible, shift-based role focused on delivering high-quality, episodic care within a collaborative team environment.

Requirements

Board eligible/Board certified
Ability to manage their own in-basket during scheduled clinic days.
Ability to develop and utilize personalized note templates.
Ability to use standardized communication (dot phrases) in the After Visit Summary (AVS).
Ability to collaborate with clinic staff to set clear patient expectations.
