About The Position
This is a non-benefited supplemental stipend assistant coach position. This position is responsible assisting in the coaching of a national competitive NCAA II football program, which competes in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Six months of coaching or playing experience at the collegiate level
- Knowledge of intercollegiate athletic rules and regulations
- Ability to evaluate physical performance related to intercollegiate competition
- Ability to work effectively with an ethnic, cultural and diverse student population
- Strong communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to relate to student-athletes
- Strong professional knowledge
- Ability to problem solve
- Ability to work with administration, faculty, staff and officials
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and direct the assigned area of the Football Program.
- Recruit quality student-athletes for the football team.
- Develop and implement practice plans and game plans.
- Perform all other duties deemed appropriate for the position.
