About The Position

This position is located at Kimbrough, Fort Meade, Maryland. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation. Duties include serving as administrator for the Release of Information Tool, monitoring work plans, daily workload, assignments, and priorities. The role involves providing instructions on job techniques, maintaining time and attendance and all leave schedules, reviewing medical records for completeness, and establishing performance standards for employees.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • A Personnel Security Investigation is required.
  • One-year supervisory probationary period required.
  • A one-year probationary period is required if the selectee has not previously met this requirement.
  • Selectees will be required to sign a statement (Condition of Employment) consenting to seasonal influenza vaccinations or must provide a recognized exemption.
  • Immunization screening is required.
  • Hepatitis B immunization is required for all positions with direct patient contact.
  • Applicants may be required to show proof of other immunizations depending on the type of position.
  • This position may require incumbent to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and/or special situations.
  • US Citizens
  • One year of specialized experience which includes utilizing automated systems to perform administrative duties; assigning codes to medical records and billing forms; and determining codes to reflect patient treatments.
  • Male applicants born after December 31, 1959 must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.
  • You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship.
  • This position requires a 1 year probationary period during which the agency evaluates your fitness and whether your continued employment advances the public interest.
  • Direct Deposit of Pay is required.
  • Selection is subject to restrictions resulting from Department of Defense referral system for displaced employees.
