About The Position

As a Supervisory Lead Nuclear Safety Analysis Engineer, you will be the technical lead for large and/or complex safety analysis projects. This role reports to the Engineering Manager of Loss of Coolant Accident Safety Analysis (LOCA) and is based at Global Headquarters in Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania. The position offers a Hybrid work model, combining on-site and remote workdays within the same week.

Requirements

• Minimum 10+ years of applicable Nuclear Plant Safety Analysis experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Nuclear, Mechanical, Chemical)

Responsibilities

• Serve as Tech Lead for large and/or complex technical projects
• Serve as overall Tech Lead for a category of large engineering projects
• Lead teams internally
• Support emergent issues; act as point of contact; customer interface
• Serve as Technical Specialist for one or more sub-disciplines
• Serve as Subject Matter Expert in a product area
• Develop and lead technical training in critical product areas
• Identify and lead technical improvement and development initiatives
• Work with manager and supervisory engineer on promotions, personnel development, skill advancements and team sizing
• Represent Westinghouse in regulatory and industry meetings
• Work with supervisory engineer on proposal development
• Coordinate cross-departmental engineering activities/efforts
• Provide input to performance reviews
• Identify and solicit improvements for product area, lead improvement initiatives
