About The Position
This is a full-time Supervisor position at Chick-fil-A, located at the Albany International Airport. The role focuses on customer service within a secure airport environment, offering a reliable schedule with Sundays off. The Supervisor will lead either Front of House (FOH) or Back of House (BOH) operations during their shift, ensuring smooth operations, genuine hospitality, strict food safety standards, and quality food preparation. The ideal candidate is an upbeat, high-energy leader with a positive attitude, a strong sense of urgency, and the ability to guide a team under pressure.
Requirements
- Previous managerial experience or prior Chick-fil-A leadership experience is required.
- An active ServSafe certification is required.
- Must be available Monday-Saturday, with guaranteed every Sunday off.
- Ability to work on your feet for long periods, bend, kneel, and lift up to 25+ pounds.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. and able to pass a pre-employment background check to obtain an airport security badge.
- Ability to pass federal background check and work in airport.
Responsibilities
- Lead the crew, delegate tasks, and ensure seamless coordination between the register and the kitchen during heavy airport rushes.
- Lead by example in greeting travelers, delivering signature hospitality, and handling guest expectations.
- Oversee and assist in food preparation, enforcing top-tier quality and adherence to brand standards.
- Act as the shift expert on all food safety regulations, proper food handling, and sanitation guidelines.
- Ensure the restaurant space is clean and organized.
