Supervises and leads a team of people to meet production needs of various areas of the processing. The Supervisor can be responsible for different work centers under the same department based on the work center, production needs, and number of people within the work center. Responsibilities include keeping attendance records, issuing paid time off in accordance with company policy and collective bargaining agreements, ensuring adequate employee training and timely submission of training materials, and ensuring timely performance reviews. The Supervisor must ensure production teams understand goals and assist in scrap reduction through effective communication with all levels of management and engineering. They are responsible for knowing company policies and collective bargaining agreements, administering conflict resolution, and following disciplinary policy. Maintaining positive employee relations, effective communication, and adherence to all safety policies are crucial. The Supervisor must be familiar with all areas of production to ensure product flow and quality comply with company and customer regulations.
