About The Position

The Legendary Galt House Hotel is looking for a qualified individual to assume the role of a 3rd Shift Security Supervisor during the hours of (11 PM- 7 AM). This role ensures the overall safety and security of the hotel guests, associates, and hotel premises. The Security Supervisor will oversee comprehensive training for new Officers, monitor staff performance and activities, and complete various reports daily. Responsibilities include identifying and correcting or reporting hazardous conditions, responding to emergencies, patrolling the property, and monitoring surveillance equipment. The role also involves investigating violations of law or hotel policy, reporting and investigating accidents, complaints, criminal activity, and crisis situations, conducting key control audits, and maintaining computer records of all actions in a Daily Activity Report. Additionally, the supervisor will assist guests with hotel facilities and adhere to all department policies, procedures, service standards, and safety policies. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

Previous experience in a Security role required
Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications required
Must possess a professional presentation
Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
Highly responsible & reliable
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
Competent at working independently on recurring projects

Nice To Haves

Certification in CPR First Aid desired

Responsibilities

Ensure the overall safety and security of the hotel guests, associates and hotel premises
Oversee comprehensive training for new Officers
Monitor staff performance and activities
Complete several types of reports on a daily basis
Identify and correct, or report potentially hazardous conditions or situations
Respond to emergency situations in a timely manner in cases of fire, accident and safety concerns
Patrol the property and monitor surveillance equipment for suspicious activity
Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
Ensure that any violations to law or hotel policy is investigated and reported
Correct and report any fire hazards or health and safety hazards
Report and investigate occurrences of accidents, complaints, criminal activity, and crisis situations
Conduct departmental key control audits and maintain key control records
Maintain computer records of all actions in a Daily Activity Report
Assist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful way
Follow department policies, procedures and service standards
Follow all safety policies
Other duties as assigned
