About The Position

The Curiosity Café Supervisor will support the Thanksgiving Point mission, values, vision, and commitment to the visitor experience and community engagement. This role involves assisting guests with concessions orders, fulfilling orders accurately and efficiently, and maintaining a clean and orderly work environment. The supervisor will also help motivate other employees, assign tasks, and follow up on them, while exemplifying Thanksgiving Point’s Mission, Values, and Policies.

Requirements

Able to work in a fast-paced environment all while keeping a calm, upbeat, and positive attitude.
Excellent customer service skills.
Willing to work hard and greet guests with a smile.
Previous experience with money handling or a willingness and ability to learn.
Food handlers Permit required (online Course).
Pass a background check.
Be at least 16 years old.

Nice To Haves

Food Handling experience preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

Support the Thanksgiving Point mission, values, vision, and commitment to the visitor experience and community engagement.
Assist guests with concessions orders by cashiering and handling cash.
Fulfill orders with accuracy, efficiency, and cheer.
Be upbeat and patient with guests and coworkers.
Keep work areas clean and orderly.
Follow directions of manager.
Assist with all duties connected to each shift, such as pre, stocking, opening, and closing.
Help motivate other employees, assign task, and follow up on those tasks.
Must be able to work Saturdays and Holidays.
Exemplify Thanksgiving Point’s Mission, Values, and Policies.
Other duties as assigned by manager/supervisor.
