About The Position

This role involves conducting "pre-planned" coaching and mentoring of General Managers (GMs), Assistant Managers (AMs), and crew members. The position requires planning on-the-job coaching objectives before each store visit using a store planning tool and providing "suggestive" on-the-job coaching of key operations and management skills. The Supervisor will also conduct Annual Performance Appraisals, providing "positive, constructive, and actionable" feedback, and offer professional development and career track mentoring to GMs and AMs. The role also focuses on achieving operational excellence in all stores using a structured approach, reinforcing key company policies and standards, identifying and diagnosing operational gaps in underperforming stores, developing formal action plans to resolve these gaps, and coordinating field support resources (Field Trainer, Human Resources, Operations Evaluator) when necessary. Additionally, the Supervisor will be involved in financial oversight and review meetings, including reviewing key financial variables during store visit pre-planning, analyzing and tracking key financial/operational data, developing short executive presentations (e.g., MS Excel/Powerpoint) to communicate key trends and results, presenting financial/operational weekly updates during Market Leader and area GM meetings, and ensuring stores meet their operating plans through P/L reviews and quarterly business reviews. The role also requires taking a leadership role in Market Development activities to drive AWUS growth, coordinating with the Market Leader and field support to develop market business plans, driving the development and execution of Local Store Marketing (LSM), coordinating field support resources (Market Specialists) to execute LSM initiatives, empowering GMs to take leadership roles in executing LSM (e.g., developing relationships in schools, community, etc.), and coordinating with the Market Leader to identify and pursue "new" AWUS growth opportunities.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years multi-unit experience in restaurant/retail industry
Experienced in ensuring operational effectiveness for multi-unit organi
