About The Position

The Supervisor (Campus Security) observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, helping protect client property and personnel. The role includes making periodic tours to check for irregularities, preserving order, and enforcing site regulations and directives pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. The work requires standing for most of the workday. The schedule is Friday and Saturday from 0000 to 0800, and pay is up to USD $23.74 per hour.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Must be available to work weekends.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Ability to verbally de-escalate situations.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Report irregularities and inform violators of policies and procedures.
• Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points, and permitting entry.
• Complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; and obtaining signatures.
• Perform tasks assigned by a supervisor or manager.
