About The Position

Beyond Yoga is seeking a Full-Time Supervisor to join their team at the Park Meadows location in Denver, CO. The Supervisor will be accountable for operational excellence in daily store procedures, payroll management, cash handling, and inventory control. They will support the Store Manager in leading the team to achieve sales goals and financial plans, with a focus on employee engagement and a collaborative selling environment. This role involves driving process adoption, opening and closing the store, resolving customer concerns, and assessing strategies to improve key performance indicators (KPIs) such as Conversion, Units Per Transaction, and Sales Per Hour. The Supervisor will also assist in interviewing, hiring, training, and retaining store team members, supporting the onboarding process, and ensuring flawless visual presentation by adhering to corporate visual direction. Additionally, they will manage product inventory through accurate receiving and sending processes, prevent losses by educating associates on customer service and company policies, and coach/develop staff to enhance their knowledge and skills. This includes managing minor employee relations issues and performance management, holding associates accountable for policies, and building relationships to foster a positive, diverse, and inclusive work environment. Collaboration with the store team and Home Office partners is expected for community engagement and brand awareness. The Supervisor will act as a brand ambassador embodying the company's core values.

Requirements

  • Progressive retail leadership experience and proven skills in supervising, coaching and training.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including evening, weekend and holiday shifts.
  • Ability to perform all essential job functions and able to lift up to 40 pounds.
  • While performing the duties of the job the employee may be required to stand, walk, kneel, squat, crouch, bend, stoop, talk and hear.
  • The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, to type, reach overhead, and climb ladders.

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for operational excellence in execution of daily store procedures, payroll management, cash handling and inventory control.
  • Support the Store Manager in leading the team in achieving daily/weekly/monthly sales goals and financial plan with a primary focus on employee engagement and a collaborative selling environment.
  • Accountable to store manager for driving process adoption, opening and closing the store as a visible service leader and supporting resolution of customer concerns with a positive outcome.
  • Assess and strategize how to drive performance goals (Conversion, Units Per Transaction, Sales Per Hour and other measurable KPI’s).
  • Assist in the interviewing, hiring, training and retention of store team.
  • Support the onboarding process for new hires educating on Beyond Yoga core values, product knowledge, selling culture, and other employee responsibilities.
  • Execute flawless store visual presentation by following corporate visual direction and recommending merchandising adaptations where needed.
  • Ensure sound product inventory management through accurate receiving and sending processes, aides in the completion of all required business directives (ex. price changes/retickets, RTVs, markdowns, transfers).
  • Prevent losses by educating associates on customer service and ensuring company policies are being followed.
  • Coach and develop staff to increase their knowledge and skill sets, providing opportunities for continued development and growth within the organization.
  • Manage minor employee relations issues including performance management.
  • Hold associates accountable for following Beyond Yoga and LS&Co policies and procedures.
  • Build relationships and foster a positive, diverse, and inclusive work environment.
  • Collaborate with store team and Home Office partners on building connections with the local community by way of events, drive brand awareness and engagement.
  • Be a brand ambassador that embodies and can cultivate the company’s core values.
