About The Position

Supervises, administers, and performs operations involved within the department.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent with additional college-level courses in the related area.
• The employee must have the ability to perform inspection functions such as visual inspection to detect cosmetic defects and color differentiation of products.
• Four (4) to six (6) years of directly related experience with at least (2) years of experience as a supervisor.
• Attendance and punctuality are essential functions of this position. Any unscheduled absence or tardy will have a negative impact on our ability to meet our production objectives.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for making out a Maintenance requisition for any changeovers in setups.
• Must schedule orders out on machines in order to insure the best possible delivery date.
• Has the responsibility of making sure that the employees in the Extrusion department properly performs the following: Safety and handling precautions, Set up procedures, Day to day operator procedures, Process controls, All inspection criteria are met, Verification of calibration of all laser mikes are checked once a week, Weekly extruder shutdown is properly performed, All records are filled out properly and in its entirety by the employee.
