Requirements

  • 1-2 year’s kitchen experience (preferably supervisory experience).
  • Food Handler certification.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Passion, enthusiasm, focus, creativity, and a positive outlook.
  • Ability to multi-task and work well under stress.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Will work varied hours, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and some lifting.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for carrying out and delegating tasks as assigned by the Kitchen Manager.
  • Supports Kitchen Manager with planning staffing levels according to the daily operations of the business.
  • Works alongside line cooks to ensure food is prepared consistently to specifications, in a timely and efficient manner, and that standard operating procedures, proper food handling techniques, and health and safety procedures are being followed on a consistent basis.
  • Will help ensure a high level of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
  • The Kitchen Supervisor must have a complete working knowledge of BP menu, recipes, assembly and plating specifications.
  • The organization and cleanliness of the HOH area will be a top priority of the kitchen supervisor and they will ensure that their checklists and cleaning schedules are being followed during and following their shift.
  • The Kitchen Supervisor may be required to assist in the training and development of new employees.
