About The Position

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for supervising the warehousing and shipping of incoming and outgoing materials, as well as supervising warehouse personnel. The role oversees daily warehouse activities, staffing, inventory, shipping and receiving, safety procedures, company assets, and labor and operating expense budgets. The schedule is nights, 6:00 p.m. to 4:30 a.m., four 10-hour shifts on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 2 years of warehouse or inventory experience required.
• At least 2 years of experience supervising warehouse staff required.
• Experience managing a budget required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Office programs.
• Proficiency with SAP or similar MRP programs.
• Ability to lead frontline employees effectively, potentially in a unionized environment.
• Ability to handle conflict.
• Ability to operate a manual or powered pallet jack required.
• Ability to lift product weighing up to 50 pounds frequently and repetitively required.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Staff, train, evaluate, and develop team members.
• Supervise daily warehouse activities and ensure safety operating procedures are followed.
• Schedule warehouse team members to meet facility demands.
• Allocate appropriate space for stock rotation.
• Assist with and maintain appropriate inventory levels and product loss control.
• Oversee shipping and receiving functions as applicable.
• Secure company assets.
• Manage within labor and OPEX budgets.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
