About The Position

The Supervisor, Supply Chain oversees frontline supply chain operations at the assigned site in a medical research, laboratory, and healthcare environment. The role directly supervises Supply Replenishers and Lead Supply Replenishers, assigns daily work, monitors attendance, and ensures site coverage. The supervisor conducts regular performance conversations and annual reviews, recommends salary actions and promotions in partnership with the manager and HR, and develops Lead Supply Replenishers as candidates for advancement. The position reports to the Supply Chain Manager and requires daily onsite presence.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience in supply chain, materials management, warehouse operations, or healthcare supply.
Demonstrated experience leading or developing a frontline team.
High school diploma or GED; 3 or more years of supply chain operations experience with frontline leadership may substitute for formal education.
Knowledge of inventory replenishment systems, supply chain operations, ERP inventory and requisition management, supply chain analytics and performance monitoring tools, lean operations principles, standard work, visual management, and operational KPIs.
Skills in frontline people leadership, coaching, feedback, accountability, hands-on operational execution, communication across organizational levels, and structured problem identification and escalation.
English language proficiency is required.

Nice To Haves

3 to 5 years of experience in supply chain operations.
Experience with lean or visual replenishment systems.
Prior healthcare or laboratory environment experience.
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or Operations Management.
Healthcare supply chain certification, Lean certification, or Six Sigma Green Belt.

Responsibilities

Assign daily work, monitor attendance, and ensure adequate site coverage.
Directly supervise Supply Replenishers and Lead Supply Replenishers at the assigned site.
Conduct regular performance conversations and annual reviews for direct reports.
Recommend salary actions and promotions in partnership with the manager and HR.
Develop Lead Supply Replenishers as internal candidates for supervisor advancement.
Coach and develop team members through feedback and structured conversations.
Hold the team accountable to operational and quality standards.
Make daily operational decisions and manage team performance.
Use structured problem identification and escalation, and support continuous improvement.
