About The Position

This role manages daily operations by facilitating department call assignment schedules to ensure proper coverage and maintaining vacation requests. The Supervisor oversees workflow for the best needs of the department, ensures the rotation of instrument trays for sharpening, and manages equipment repairs for CSP, Surgery, and Endoscopy. They will audit the trays of Technicians to ensure they are done correctly and contain clean, properly working instruments, and ensures that equipment is delivered properly in a timely manner. This role also works closely with service line coordinators and surgeons for any changes or issues that may arise pertaining to Central Sterile Processing.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required
2 years sterile processing experience required
CSPDT – Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician upon hire required OR
CRCST – Certified Registered Central Service Technician upon hire required OR
CBSPD – Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution upon hire required

Nice To Haves

College degree preferred
3 years sterile processing experience preferred
