About The Position

This role is responsible for supervising the activities and functions associated with the decontamination and sterilization of instruments for various departments in the hospital.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE), or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required
• 3 years of experience as a Sterile Processing Technician or Surgical Technician in the healthcare industry or a healthcare setting required
• Previous supervisory experience required.
• CRCST - Certified Registered Central Services Technician Certification from HSPA required or
• CSPDT - Certified Sterile Processing & Distribution Technician Certification from CBSPD required

Nice To Haves

• Associate's Degree or some college business courses preferred
• 1 year of Supervisory experience or 2 years of Team Lead experience preferred
