About The Position

The Social Services Supervisor is responsible for the daily functions of the Social Services department. The Supervisor is an active participant in the facility interdisciplinary team (IDT), attending care plan conferences, IDT meetings, and other committee meetings. Responsible for providing psychosocial-emotional support and services to residents and families. Assists residents and family members in understanding, coping and adapting to the personal, emotional and psychosocial issues associated with the resident's illness, disability or recovery.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or Human Services
3 years of relevant experience in the healthcare industry or healthcare setting
Experience with PointClickCare or EHR systems (preferably in a Skilled Nursing facility/setting)

Nice To Haves

Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW)
1 year of experience in a supervisory role
LCSW - State of California Licensed Clinical Social Worker
