About The Position

Under limited supervision, supervise and perform a variety of patrol, security, emergency response and customer service duties at assigned location. May participate in the full range of daily security duties, performing the most difficult. Inspect and evaluate work in progress and identify any problem areas. May direct remedial action. Supervise and control the access of visitors and vendors to the site. Coordinate with Maintenance department on areas identified as needing repair. Supervise or conduct surveillance of locations or areas in which vandalism or criminal activities have been noted. Serve as liaison with all local emergency response staff for the security and safety of assigned site. Coordinate with Police Officers regarding crime control and prevention, with emergency fire crews for fire suppression and with emergency medical response units. Provide basic emergency medical response (e.g. CPR, basic first aid) as needed. Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED, supplemented by advanced training or education up to or including a Bachelor’s degree in a closely related area, and five (5) years operational experience in security field, including supervisory or lead experience.
  • Personal protective equipment is required when performing work in a mine, outdoor, manufacturing or plant environment, including hart hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, and as needed, respirator, rubber steel-toe boots, protective clothing, gloves and any other protective equipment as required.
  • Candidates may be required to pass a medical exam.
  • Candidates must pass all required training and/or testing.
  • Employees may be required to work a non-standard schedule, which may include shift work (other than day shift) at a 24/7, 365-day operation.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of local police and ambulance dispatch procedures, and local public safety agency rules, regulations and methods of operation.
  • Knowledge of first aid, CPR and other basic emergency medical techniques.
  • Knowledge of site topography and the locations of emergency equipment and access points.

Benefits

  • The estimated annual pay range for this role is currently $65,000-$90,000.
  • This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions.
  • Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors.
  • This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance.
