Position Summary The Supervisor, Safety & Security Programs is responsible for the development, implementation, administration, and continuous improvement of the Company’s Environmental Health, Safety & Security (EHSS) programs. This role ensures compliance with all applicable regulations while promoting a strong safety culture across the organization. The position provides leadership to EHSS personnel, establishes a scalable reporting structure, and ensures consistent ownership of safety and security initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety & Health or related field required
  • Minimum 5 years EHSS experience required
  • Leadership experience preferred
  • Experience in utilities or construction a plus
  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP) strongly preferred
  • Strong leadership and team management
  • Excellent communication and public speaking skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Valid driver’s license required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in utilities or construction a plus
  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP) strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead, administer, and improve EHSS programs and policies
  • Establish and maintain a scalable reporting structure for safety & security
  • Supervise and lead EHSS staff in day-to-day operations
  • Directly oversee incident and accident investigations
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA, DOT, and other regulatory requirements
  • Lead audits, inspections, and facility compliance assessments
  • Analyze safety data and trends to drive improvements
  • Serve as advisor to leadership and employees on safety matters
  • Participate in safety councils and pre-construction meetings
  • Evaluate new projects for safety risks and recommend improvements
  • Administer safety & security annual budgets
  • Exercise authority to suspend unsafe work activities
