The Banner University Medical Center-Tucson Campus has a great opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Supervisor, RN Burn Trauma Program Manager. In this position you will manage and influence the quality of patient outcomes and clinical care. You will collaborate with staff to integrate quality and cost improvements in clinical care. Day to day responsibilities include but are not limited to responding to burn consults with the team, providing burn education to patients; ensuring patients and families understand the plan of care; burn education for staff including nurses and residents; Burn unit oversight including dressing change coordination, maintaining communication (being a liaison) between nurses, APPs, residents and attendings. This position promotes optimal care of the injured patient through leadership, coordination and development of processes related to a specialized service. Assists other leaders to establish, oversee, and evaluate quality of care as well as to identify opportunities for improvement, operationally and clinically. Enhances the program development though coordination of daily operations and activities with other departments, services, and referral facilities. Oversees and ensures compliance with local, state, or national organizations for verification and designation including the American College of Surgeons (ACS) and state agencies.
