About The Position

The Supervisor – Revenue Cycle assists the Department Manager in overseeing employees working on-site in a hospital or within an office. The position also supports the manager by evaluating Team Leads as they oversee Revenue Cycle Billing Specialists, maintaining employee records, and supporting quality assurance and other departmental duties.

Requirements

• Recent experience with Epic is required.
• PB and HB experience is required.
• Experience with medical claims billing and/or patient accounting processes is required.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint, is required.
• Ability to work and communicate effectively with coworkers, staff, and clients.
• Ability to present oneself professionally and courteously at all times.
• Working knowledge of personal computers.
• Ability to demonstrate initiative and creativity in fulfilling job responsibilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a busy work environment.
• Strong leadership abilities.

Nice To Haves

• A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
• FACS experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and develop departmental teams.
• Oversee and direct the daily activities of the Receivables staff.
• Coordinate account inventories and report daily or weekly to the Department Manager.
• Prepare and conduct staff training.
• Maintain staff time and attendance records.
• Problem-solve operational issues.
• Conduct performance reviews.
• Assist with hiring.
• Delegate and inspect workflows.
