About The Position
The Revenue Cycle Supervisor is responsible for the day to day operation of the department.
Requirements
- Minimum of one year experience.
- Skill in communicating clearly and effectively using standard English in written, oral and verbal format to achieve high productivity and efficiency.
- Skill to write legibly and record information accurately as necessary to perform job duties.
Nice To Haves
- Previous Lead or Supervisory experience within revenue cycle or contract variance .
- Experience in Epic or other practice management systems .
Responsibilities
- Creating and implementing policies that ensure the accuracy of credits on patient accounts.
- Overseeing the staff of the revenue cycle department
- Managing work queues and staff work flows
- Communicating with insurance providers and reviewing policy changes for payers.
- Analyzing credit accounts and working with Manager on trends causing credits on an account.
- Managing staff performance by providing regular feedback, performance reviews, and one-on-one meetings
- Train new staff along with the department manager.
- Work with the department manager on staff production and quality .
- Train staff on any performance issues.
