About The Position
This position is responsible for the daily supervision of associates through leadership and development of the team. The role involves the daily execution of merchandising and store standards, setting planograms, and communicating sales and service goals to the team. The ability to perform all register/cash handling/loss prevention functions in accordance with company standards is required. This role also facilitates staffing needs to ensure on-time opening and closing procedures for all stores, directs the replenishment of merchandise/supplies, maintains stockroom organization, and engages in receiving functions. The goal is to achieve sales goals by adhering to company performance metrics, implementing promotional programs, and executing special events.
Requirements
- Previous supervisory experience in a retail environment supervising others.
- Ability to work various shifts in a 7/365 days team-oriented environment.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively using the English language.
- Strong interpersonal/organizational skills with ability to motivate others.
- Self-starter able to prioritize various tasks and adapt to unexpected situations simultaneously.
- Proficiency required in reading, writing, mathematics, cash handling/reporting.
- Computer literacy and working knowledge of MS Office preferred.
- Ability to meet FAA requirements for a Federal Criminal History Record check and a company background check.
- Physical ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs.
- Ability to perform essential job functions such as standing, bending, reaching, climbing a ladder, and walking long distances.
