About The Position

St. Camillus is seeking an experienced and motivated Residential Aide Supervisor to support quality care and customer‑focused service within our Assisted Living community. This role provides leadership, education, and day‑to‑day supervision of Residential Aides while serving as a key operational resource for residents, families, and visitors. The Residential Aide Supervisor plays a vital role in ensuring services are delivered in accordance with individualized service plans and regulatory requirements, while promoting teamwork, accountability, and resident dignity.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a healthcare provider in Assisted Living or Skilled Care
  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience
  • Current C.N.A. certification required
  • CBRF Medication Administration and Standard Precautions certifications required
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a focus on customer service and problem resolution
  • Proficiency with basic computer skills, including Word, Excel, touchscreen systems, and smartphone documentation
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to handle stressful situations with sound judgment and professionalism
  • Flexibility to work varied hours and be accessible outside normal business hours for emergencies or staffing needs
  • Ability to safely perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation

Nice To Haves

  • CBRF Fire Safety and First Aid certifications preferred

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, support, and evaluate Residential Aide staff across all shifts (days, evenings, nights, weekends)
  • Ensure completion and accurate documentation of scheduled resident services
  • Address performance, quality, safety, and documentation concerns through coaching and corrective action as needed
  • Participate in and attend Individualized Service Plan (ISP) meetings and other resident‑related meetings
  • Communicate with residents and families regarding service needs, changes, and concerns
  • Coordinate and support scheduling of Residential Aide services in collaboration with the Scheduler
  • Assist with schedule coverage, open shifts, payroll corrections, and schedule revisions
  • Coordinate orientation and onboarding of new Residential Aides and monitor training progress during the first 90 days
  • Conduct interviews, staff investigations, performance reviews, and ongoing performance monitoring
  • Collaborate with Nursing, Social Services, Resident Services, and other departments to address resident needs and behavior challenges
  • Maintain documentation systems, including emergency information and end‑of‑month transitions
  • Assist with weekly ordering of resident and wellness supplies
  • Facilitate services with other departments such as maintenance, housekeeping, food service, and central supply
  • Serve as operational lead for Assisted Living programs in the absence of the Resident Services Manager
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all St. Camillus policies, procedures, and Code of Conduct
