About The Position

Childhelp is seeking a dedicated Relative Caregiver Program Supervisor to provide daily leadership, support, and oversight to our team of Relative Caregiver Program Care Coordinators. In this role, you will lead a team of 5–6 direct reports, driving service quality, ensuring regulatory compliance, and upholding Childhelp’s mission to support children and families. You will play a vital role in staff development, quality assurance, program collaboration, and ensuring our team delivers high-quality, compassionate care aligned with state, federal, and accreditation standards.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field, plus 2+ years of experience in child welfare, social work, or casework.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work (BSW) or a related field, plus 3+ years of experience in child welfare, social work, or casework.
  • Must successfully pass fingerprint background screenings through the Department of Justice (DOJ), FBI, and Child Abuse Index.

Responsibilities

  • Direct, coach, and support a team of 5–6 Relative Caregiver Program Care Coordinators.
  • Drive implementation and maintain strict fidelity to the Childhelp model of care.
  • Lead hiring, interviewing, and functional onboarding of new program staff.
  • Set performance goals, conduct regular supervision meetings, deliver constructive feedback, and perform annual appraisals.
  • Oversee ongoing training, professional development, and performance recognition for direct reports.
  • Manage workload distribution, assign cases, and monitor assignment progress.
  • Apply corrective actions and resolve workplace complaints or issues in collaboration with HR and leadership.
  • Perform regular quality reviews of client documentation, including assessments, treatment/service plans, case notes, and discharge summaries.
  • Ensure program adherence to state licensing, federal regulations, and accreditation standards.
  • Collect and analyze program data to drive continuous quality improvement across services.
  • Maintain complete and timely service delivery documentation.
  • Maintain continuous availability for staff supervision, consultation, and crisis support.
  • Build and sustain strong professional partnerships with community agencies and external stakeholders.
  • Exercise sound, independent judgment and maintain composure in high-stress or deadline-driven situations.
  • Serve as a positive role model by actively participating in required meetings, trainings, and leadership initiatives.
