As a Receiving Supervisor you will provide direct support, leadership and supervision to the receiving personnel. You will work directly with Quality Receiving Inspectors (QRI) to ensure material OTD is achieved, work scheduling to meet required manpower and production demands daily, and ensure processes are compliant and in adherence with quality standards. You will also attend or lead approved meetings as determined by management, and assist with addressing any concerns raised by other departments/customers relating to the area.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in warehouse and material handling environments supporting production or operational workflows.
  • 1+ years of leadership experience in a lead, supervisor, or team coordinator role overseeing daily operations and team performance.
  • Proficient in computer systems with daily use of Microsoft Word and Excel (spreadsheets, tracking tools, reporting dashboards) and exposure to integrated ERP/MRP systems.

Responsibilities

  • Read daily Receiving Team operations, including staffing, scheduling, attendance management, overtime planning, and weekend support to meet production demands.
  • Conduct daily stand-up meetings and oversee workflow execution, troubleshooting issues and ensuring production schedules remain on track.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between employees, management, and HR to address performance, disciplinary matters, employee concerns, and training development needs.
  • Support talent development by maintaining the area Skills Matrix, identifying skill gaps, monitoring training progress, and providing performance review input to leadership.
  • Lead internal and external audit preparation and execution while ensuring compliance with quality, regulatory, and safety requirements.
  • Train and mentor Expeditors on receiving processes and partner with Quality leadership to ensure compliance with QRI sign-off requirements and subcontract shop order validations.
  • Ensure all direct product receipts are processed in Oracle within 24 hours to support commercial WIP forecasts and production commitments.
  • Coordinate with Procurement, Customer Program teams, and production stakeholders to resolve material shortages, manage piece-part programs, and eliminate supply chain constraints.
  • Maintain production performance boards, monitor key operational metrics, and drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency and process effectiveness.
  • Act as backup to the Supply Chain Operations Manager, representing Supply Chain leadership at production reviews, cross-functional meetings, quarterly dock assessments, and special projects.
