The position requires tracking work order progress, managing workflow through production tracking systems, and coordinating with other departments like Assembly, Inventory Control, and Engineering to ensure parts availability and the development of necessary tools and fixtures. A key responsibility is developing and maintaining a training program for Production personnel to ensure they meet quality and efficiency standards. The role also involves tracking and analyzing work order hours to identify and correct production deficiencies.
