About The Position

To ensure efficient and safe power generation operations, consider the following responsibilities of Utilities Operations Team Captain: Oversee daily operations of power generation facilities to ensure optimal performance. Monitor equipment performance and conduct regular inspections to prevent downtime. Manage and train staff on safety protocols and operational procedures. Coordinate maintenance schedules and troubleshoot equipment issues promptly. Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and industry standards. Prepare reports on operational efficiency and recommend improvements.

Requirements

Substantial experience, usually 5-10 years, in power plant operations or a similar industrial setting.
Professional certification in plant operations or facility management can be advantageous.
Strong leadership skills and prior supervisory experience are essential.
Knowledge of industry-specific software and strong analytical abilities to manage operational data.
A powerhouse supervisor must be a decisive leader capable of operating in high-stress environments while maintaining focus on the broader energy production goals.
