About The Position

The Supervisor Plant Operations/Chief Engineer is responsible for overall plant operations and maintenance, including high-pressure steam generation, chilled water production, building automation control, and related mechanical systems. The role is based in Orange, California, on a day shift of eight hours. Requirements

• At least three years of supervisory or lead experience.
• At least five years of related building maintenance experience, with emphasis on maintenance, repair, and semi-skilled work across building trades, including plumbing, electrical, and painting.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Sound working knowledge of and ability to interpret technical schematics, CAD drawings, blueprints, and equipment manufacturers’ technical information.
• Working knowledge of The Joint Commission Environment of Care codes, SCAQMD, OSHA, EPA, and California Mechanical Code.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.
• Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining exceptional customer service standards.
• Ability to establish positive working relationships and demonstrate sound judgment, sensitivity and respect, teamwork, innovation, and a focus on customer expectations.

Nice To Haves

• Over six years of progressive senior-level experience in a hospital facilities department.
• Two or more years of experience supervising others.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in an engineering field.
• Steam Engineer or Unlimited steam plant license.
