About The Position

The Supervisor Planning/Maintenance works extensively within the EMPRV Four Week Scheduling Module, planning and coordinating power plant maintenance activities to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant performance. This includes estimating manpower, material tooling, job instructions, critical paths workman’s protection and permits, to achieve the optimum equipment outage duration. Key responsibilities include: ● Interface with and coordinate work activities between PCM maintenance supervisors, plant maintenance, engineering, operations, and other plant and contractor personnel. ● Plan jobs, track work progress, update project critical path schedules, and communicate changes to the daily work schedule to the 4-week Scheduler. ● Utilize computer applications such as Microsoft Project, Excel and Word, TRIS, EMPRV, P3e and API. ● Supervise, train and appraise crews in the maintenance, replacement, installation and removal of equipment in the power plant and associated structures. ● Perform administrative duties and special assignments as required. Relieve other plant supervisory positions as needed.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Five or more years experience in equipment maintenance with a journeyman background required.
  • Must have good leadership, decision-making, human relations and communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to work with multiple complex tasks simultaneously required.
  • Computer experience required, including familiarity with windows based applications.

Nice To Haves

  • Primavera experience preferred.
