About The Position

SelectQuote is seeking a Supervisor for their Pharmacy department. This on-site position requires direct supervisory responsibilities, including orientation, training, performance evaluation, and disciplinary actions. The role involves implementing policies, coordinating teamwork, responding to patient needs, and maintaining confidentiality. The supervisor must operate within professional standards and comply with all relevant regulations. This position has no budget responsibility.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy is required for the state of Kansas.
  • Three or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Kansas State Pharmacist license required for associates assigned to the Olathe, KS Facility.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven conflict management and resolution skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate change and skillfully direct and motivate pharmacy staff.
  • High degree of interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of management, associates, clients, and the general public.
  • Knowledge and understanding of pharmacy software.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English is required.
  • At least 8 hours of standing and walking throughout the workday.
  • Frequent movement between workstations and production areas.
  • Reoccurring bending, stooping, reaching, and climbing stairs or ladders.
  • Use of hands and arms for handling, operating, or monitoring equipment.
  • Ability to move, position, or transport materials or products weighing up to 15 pounds, with or without assistance.
  • Extended periods of continuous standing at a computer or workstation.
  • A high level of physical activity and stamina consistent with a production-floor environment.

Responsibilities

  • Directly supervise departmental personnel, including orientation and training.
  • Monitor, schedule, and determine workload for staff.
  • Delegate assignments to pharmacy staff.
  • Evaluate performance annually or as needed, in partnership with the Pharmacy Manager.
  • Support corrective and disciplinary actions.
  • Implement and adhere to all SelectRx policies and procedures.
  • Participate in interviewing and evaluating candidates, and make recommendations for hiring, promotion, or discipline.
  • Coordinate and implement teamwork initiatives and support department quality improvement efforts.
  • Respond promptly to patient needs and solicit customer feedback to improve service.
  • Speak clearly and persuasively in both positive and challenging situations.
  • Balance team and individual responsibilities.
  • Maintain confidentiality (HIPAA).
  • Operate within professional standards and comply with all Federal, State, Local, and Business regulations governing the practice of Pharmacy.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager.
