This position is a part of a team of supervisors responsible for managing the Business Office division of the billing department and supervising the day-to-day operations of assigned team members to ensure accurate billing of claims and subsequent follow-up. This position with assist with projects, as needed. RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS): Serve as part of a supervisor team in managing day-to-day departmental operations. Manage self-pay collections activities of DRH Business Office. Serve as patient and clinic resource for questions regarding patient accounts. Analyze and self-pay Accounts Receivable (A/R) to manage AR days. Assign workloads to meet departmental goals. Train and evaluate team members. Manage team members’ schedules/monitors time and attendance. Assist in identification, development, and implementation of improvement plans for the Business office. Maintain current knowledge of insurance guidelines. Assist Director with monthly reporting and special projects for PAM department. Regular attendance and punctuality for scheduled shifts. Must be flexible and available based on staffing requirements; weekends, holidays, and on call. Maintains professional and technical knowledge through continuing education opportunities including internal and external educational offerings. Must adhere to, and promote, safety protocols at all times. Per DRH policy, all required conditions of employment must be met and maintained including required vaccinations. Implement DRH Standards of Behavior and exhibit behaviors consistent with DRH core values. Performs other related duties as assigned.
