The role also involves managing production workflow by utilizing multi-warehouse systems to predict and direct workflow, following computer control commands to redirect workflow within warehouse systems, and understanding how all parts are impacted by decisions to redirect workflow. Additionally, the position facilitates setting objectives and strategies, daily tactical planning, budgeting, workforce requirements, develops performance measures for work groups, clarifies inputs and outputs for continuous improvement, and schedules daily activities to maximize resources.
