About the role We are looking for a Supervisor Operations Filter plant/Slag mill to lead a shift within the Filter Plant Slag Mill, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient production outcomes. This is a great opportunity for an early-career leader to develop supervisory skills while contributing to operational performance in a complex processing environment. Reporting to the Superintendent, Feed & Slag Operations and working within a collaborative and safety-focused team, you will:

Requirements

  • A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
  • A minimum of 3 years of Supervisory experience in a mining or industrial environment.
  • Demonstrated experience and involvement within ore handling environment with mobile equipment
  • Leadership experience and confidence in leading, developing and coaching team members
  • Effective communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
  • A valid driver's license

Nice To Haves

  • Tertiary degree or Trade/Technical diploma in a relevant discipline would be considered an asset

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support a team to achieve safety, production, and quality targets
  • Coordinate daily operations, aligning resources and equipment to optimize performance
  • Set clear priorities and collaborate with cross-functional partners to maintain workflow continuity
  • Monitor performance, identify issues, and take timely action using established processes
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean and management system activities
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and feedback to support team development
