This role is to lead production through advanced manufacturing systems, processing, quality and maintenance ensuring key accountabilities with the Operational Framework SQCDPE (Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, People and Environment) and associated Key Performance Indicators.

Requirements

Minimum 5-7 years of operations experience in leadership roles in consumer packaged goods and/or food manufacturing required.
Technical knowledge of processing and packaging is an asset.
Demonstrated track record of building and leading high functioning teams.
Strong knowledge and experience in all of the following areas: Occupational Health & Safety, People Leadership, Lean Manufacturing, Quality Assurance.
Ability to set direction through business acumen, strategic agility and dealing with ambiguity.
Can inspire and influence by motivating others.
Act with integrity and trust.
Drive results with timely decision making, command and negotiating skills.
Operate with a sense of urgency being action oriented and exhibiting perseverance.
Strong project management and budgeting skills.
Knowledge of operating systems CMMS, ERP and MES.
Sound administrative skills, advanced skill level with current office and applications software packages such as Project, Word, and Excel.
Excellent communication skills with fluency in English, both written and verbal.
Possess strong computer and software application skills.
Flexible hours required as needed.

Responsibilities

Lead and support the production team to achieve operational goals while promoting Mother Parkers’ values and core competencies.
Plan and execute production and departmental strategies, monitoring performance and driving continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with food safety (GMP, SQF), occupational health & safety, and environmental standards.
Drive operational excellence through lean manufacturing principles, cost reduction, and quality improvement initiatives.
Develop, coach, and support team members, including performance management, training, and succession planning.
Oversee production KPIs, scheduling, and resource utilization to ensure efficient operations and customer satisfaction.
Maintain strong employee relations and uphold company policies and compliance requirements.
Monitor production performance, investigate issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
Partner with cross-functional teams, including Quality, Maintenance, and Distribution, to ensure smooth operations.
Ensure readiness for audits and inspections, including regulatory and customer requirements.
Support payroll documentation and reporting requirements.
Participate in safety programs, accident investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Provide hands-on operational and quality support (including QA checks and documentation) as required.
