About The Position

Operations Management is responsible for strategic oversight and leadership direction within the Operations function. This role directs and motivates employees to ensure compliance with GMP, OSHA, EPA and other regulations. The supervisor will maintain annual financial responsibility for various departments, supervise areas of Manufacturing, Raw Materials Whse., and learn/support as a backup to the BNS operation. They will maintain Productivity Analysis for all areas of responsibility, provide training and continual coaching on process improvements, and handle special projects and other tasks as assigned. The role requires the ability to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned. The supervisor is responsible for abiding by all company and regulatory environmental, health, and safety requirements and supporting various employee activities throughout the year.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 1-2 years related experience, preferred
  • Strong communication skills
  • Leadership skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Coordinates and supervises the daily activities of operations, or business support staff
  • Administers and executes policies and procedures
  • Ensures employees operate within guidelines
  • Decisions have a direct impact on work unit operations and customers
  • Frequently interacts with subordinates, customers and peer groups at various management levels
  • Interactions normally involve information exchange and basic problem resolution
