The Supervisor of the Bronchoscopy Lab / Pulmonary Function Lab provides management and leadership in the department. Oversees departmental operations and coordinates clinical activities.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree from an AMA Accredited School of Respiratory Care
  • 2 years experience as a Respiratory Therapist in a Bronchoscopy Lab and /or Pulmonary Function Lab
  • Basic Life Support Required
  • PA Respiratory Care License Required
  • Cert Respiratory Therapist Required or Reg Respiratory Therapist Required

Responsibilities

  • Oversees departmental operations and coordinates clinical activities.
  • Participates in the recruitment and hiring of staff, as well as schedules, supervises, trains, develops and disciplines staff.
  • Assists in development of protocols and performance improvement activities to assess process and outcomes.
  • Performs patient care as necessary.
