The Impact You’ll Make in this Role As a Supervisor, Technical Product Development, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by: Leads a high-performing team of software development engineers building scalable, cloud-native healthcare platforms leveraging Cassandra, PostgreSQL, Kafka, Java, Spring Boot, and OpenSearch, while fostering a culture of engineering excellence and continuous improvement. Implements modern DevOps and CI/CD practices using GitHub, Kubernetes (K8s), Terraform, AWS services (including S3), and MinIO to deliver secure, reliable, and high-availability products across international deployments. Determines technical strategy, architecture patterns, and system design for healthcare interoperability solutions, including FHIR-based integrations, ensuring compliance with regulatory and security standards such as ATO and broader healthcare security frameworks. Supports organizational goals by aligning engineering delivery with product roadmaps, driving cross-functional collaboration, and ensuring adherence to security, compliance, and governance requirements (GovRAMP experience a plus). Willingness to be on-call as needed to support critical systems, ensuring operational continuity and rapid response to production incidents.

Requirements

  • Bachelor or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution AND Eight (8) years of software engineer experience or infrastructure experience.
  • OR High School Diploma/GED AND Fourteen(14) years of software engineer experience or infrastructure experience.
  • 3+ years of recent experience in a supervisory or technical leadership role leading software engineering teams.
  • 5+ years of experience designing and developing cloud-native applications using Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, Cassandra, PostgreSQL, and OpenSearch.
  • 3+ years of experience with DevOps and CI/CD practices utilizing GitHub, Kubernetes (K8s), Terraform, AWS (including S3), and containerized microservices architectures.
  • Experience building and delivering healthcare technology solutions, including interoperability standards such as FHIR and working within regulated environments requiring ATO and security compliance.
  • Experience supporting international deployments and distributed systems, including operational excellence, scalability, and resiliency considerations.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems.
  • Five (5) years of experience working in a regulated healthcare or government environment, including exposure to compliance frameworks such as GovRAMP (preferred).
  • Skills include strong leadership, communication, cross-functional collaboration, strategic thinking, and the ability to mentor and develop high-performing engineering teams.
