About The Position

Support the scheduling team by analyzing data, planning capacity, and collaborating with various departments to meet business demands and operational goals.

Requirements

  • Experience in scheduling functions (Optim8 preferred).
  • Experience in reporting, analytics and support of a Time & Attendance system.
  • Experience with scheduling compliance rules and regulations.
  • Experience with using Excel spreadsheets, along with any other functions necessary for reporting.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously, along with being detail-oriented, with a focus on accuracy and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Create plans to ensure adequate staffing levels across different operational areas.
  • Create and implement employee schedules that align with forecasted demand while considering employee availability, skills, and labor costs.
  • Manage time-off requests, leave of absences, and scheduling exceptions.
  • Proficiently use workforce management software to manage schedules, track employee data, and generate reports.
  • Collaborate with department managers to understand staffing requirements and address operational challenges.
  • Communicate scheduling updates and changes effectively to employees.
  • Partner with HR to ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
  • Manage day-to-day staffing during operating season, to include, but not limited to call-offs, availability management through scheduling software platform.
  • Provide training and ongoing support to scheduling staff to ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively manage scheduling processes, utilize scheduling software, and adhere to company policies and procedures.
