About The Position
The Ambulatory and Outpatient Clinical Nurse Supervisor provide direct supervision to selected clinical areas and assists the practice in delivering health care to patients consistent with the practice’s policies and procedures. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in health care administration or related field.
- Typically, 3 years of experience in a similar medical practice setting which should include thorough knowledge of physician billing, accounting and general medical office procedures.
- Ability to successfully and positively interact with physicians and employees at all levels throughout the organization and the public.
- Typically requiring at least 3 years of experience in a medical practice setting along with strong billing, coding, and general healthcare administration knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Overseeing the day-to-day activities of non-physician staff, including scheduling, performance reviews, and daily coaching.
- Managing reception, billing workflows, accounts payable, and patient flow.
- Acting as the primary bridge between clinical staff, doctors, and organizational leadership to ensure seamless patient care.
