The Supervisor Clinic Operations will supervise the day-to-day activities of non-physician staff, ensuring a high level of productivity. This role continuously monitors the functioning of the medical group and revises operational procedures as necessary. The Supervisor will oversee all functions of the medical group including reception and scheduling activities, patient service areas, accounting, medical records, transcription, business information systems, and appropriate clinical areas. They will establish effective policies and procedures for each area, updating as necessary, and schedule non-physician staff ensuring appropriate deployment among offices. This position functions as a liaison between non-physician staff and physicians to ensure effective service for patients and establishes and maintains effective working relationships with group physicians. The Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day processing of accounts payable by preparing payment requests, obtaining proper authorization and ensuring timely payments. They will also perform human resources responsibilities for staff, including coaching on performance, completing performance reviews, and managing staff morale. Recommendations for hiring, compensation changes, promotions, corrective action decisions, and terminations will be made by this role. The Supervisor is responsible for understanding and adhering to the organization's Code of Ethical Conduct and ensuring that personal actions, and the actions of employees supervised, comply with applicable policies, regulations, and laws.
