Provide clinical and administrative oversight to Children, Adolescent, and Young Adult Clinicians who are engaging clients in individual, family, and group therapy on an outpatient basis. Engage clients in individual, group, and family therapy aimed at increasing supporting clients in creating a life worth living and functioning independently in the community. This team primarily serves children, adolescents, and young adult clients, but individual caseloads may also include adults. Specific client assignments are based on client preferences, clinical experience, interest and credentials.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree from an accredited college or University in Social Work, Psychology or related discipline and be licensed or eligible for certification.
  • 3 years of supervisory experience preferred
  • Must have 5 years of supervised experience in providing counseling and/or psychotherapy services
  • Must demonstrate knowledge in the areas of diagnostic assessment, long and short term treatment, family systems theory and group treatment
  • Must have basic computer and keyboarding skills

Responsibilities

  • Provide mental health assessments that identify service needs and recommend options for care
  • Share assessment findings with clients
  • Involve client and/or family in the development of treatment plan goals, objectives, and interventions that address their assessed behavioral health needs
  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy service
  • Provide case management services to assist clients, and their families with access to needed benefits and services
  • Provide coordinated care by initiating or participating in client centered consultation with internal and external providers involved in care or services
  • Reassess and review treatment progress with clients and their families at proscribed intervals
  • Provide crisis assessments and interventions for Child & Adolescent clients when needed, provide support to team members, as well as, assist in crisis assessments and interventions.
  • Assist in establishing effective communication between the Center, other social agencies serving clients, and the community
  • Provide administrative and clinical supervision, as well as, training and onboarding to full-time and part-time Child and Adolescent Behavioral Health therapists, including clinical direction and assistance with treatment planning and service delivery
  • Provide performance evaluation for full-time and part time supervisees building on strengths and identifying ongoing growth/training needs.
