About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our Psychiatric Residential Program team and help build brighter futures for children and families across Oregon. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a beautiful urban campus where psychiatrists often work with clients outside in the garden or walking or riding bikes. We work in a multidisciplinary team model that values clinical excellence, innovation, diversity, and trauma-informed care. About the Role The Staff Psychiatrist provides psychiatric assessment, treatment, and clinical oversight for youth receiving services within assigned programs. This role also offers opportunities for leadership, collaboration, and program development under the guidance of the Chief Medical Officer.

Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited Psychiatry Residency
  • Completion of a Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship
  • Current Oregon medical license or eligibility
  • DEA certification including Schedule II prescribing authority

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and establish DSM-5 and ICD-10 diagnoses
  • Provide ongoing psychiatric treatment and medication management
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary treatment teams and participate in treatment planning reviews
  • Lead clinical discussions and support quality client care during Clinical Client Review meetings
  • Complete clinical documentation in compliance with agency, accreditation, and regulatory standards
  • Coordinate care with medical specialists and allied health professionals as needed
  • Support program development, staff education, and clinical leadership initiatives
