The energy sector is rapidly evolving, offering exciting new opportunities for those who want to make a difference. The Supervisor Nuclear Contracts is accountable to the Director, Nuclear Development. The Supervisor will oversee the team responsible for the management of IESO’s nuclear contracts and agreements that require technical, financial, and operational oversight. Central to this work will be the monitoring, reviewing, validating, and reporting on the progress and adherence to obligations in the refurbishment contract between the IESO and Bruce Power to ensure ratepayer value from the largest operating nuclear generating station in North America. In addition, the team will also be responsible for managing existing and potential future agreements related to new build nuclear facilities in the province. This includes overseeing contracts that will be supporting the Bruce C project, potentially the first major new nuclear build in Canada in over 30 years. The Supervisor is expected to be an experienced professional, with an understanding of the nuclear industry, and a combination of technical/engineering, finance, project management, commercial principles, and relationship management experience. A limited amount of travel to the Bruce Power site may be required.
