Supervises the technical aspect of the neurodiagnostic lab including the day-to-day operations, maintenance of equipment and supervision of neurodiagnostic lab. Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) (STRONGLY PREFERRED).   • Registered EEG Technologist - American Board of Registration of Eletoencephalograpic and Evoked Potential Technologists
  • Relevant Work Experience

Responsibilities

  • Supervises the technical operation of the neurodiagnostic laboratory.
  • Communicates with neurodiagnostic staff, hospital staff and physicians in the performance of neurodiagnostic procedures.
  • Performs complex neurodiagnostic procedures according to department protocols.
  • Performs visual maintenance checks on all equipment used, takes reports from other technical staff about malfunctions/needs and reports these to the appropriate vendors in timely fashion.
  • Plans and sets day-to-day objectives for the team that have a direct effect on the results of the department or area that the job is in.
  • Resolves technical and operational problems within provided guideline.
  • Applies advanced subject matter knowledge within a specific technical area and basic management knowledge to support the team.
  • Leads/supervises a unit within a department or a small department. Typically without budget or hire/fire authority. Role is typically a 'working' supervisor.
